NYClothingDrive – Round 3! Sign up!

For the third time RaisedBy.Us (along with and a truckload of volunteers) will be making it easy for you to donate your unwanted clothes to charity.  Here is what you need to know:

What: NYClothingDrive is a door-to-door charity clothing drive.

When: Sunday, October 20th, 2013

How: SIGN UP here to schedule a pick-up.

Why: We’ve had unused stuff in our closet for ages and needed an excuse to finally donate. We thought you might want the same.

NYClothingDrive is back! Register today!

Success! – Thanks for Participating

Thanks to all who participated in the NYClothingDrive on Feb 6th, 2010 and to Yahoo! for sponsoring our truck costs.  Here are some stats from the drive:

  • 3 trucks
  • 9 door-to-door volunteers
  • 60 pickup locations
  • 3,500+ pounds of clothes donated
  • $1,660+ raised for New York Cares

Still interested in donating? If you missed the NYClothingDrive and are interested in donating or recycling your unused clothes, please check out our partner Wearable Collections.  You can drop donations with them at NYC’s weekly green markets or request a donation bin to be installed in your apartment building.

What is the NYClothingDrive?

NYClothingDrive is a door-to-door charity clothing drive.
We will come collect your unused clothes, recycle them and donate the proceeds to charity.

When: Saturday February 6th, 2010.
